BodyTalk
I’ll admit it, “BodyTalk” is a strange name. However unusual, the name makes sense once you understand more about this powerful medical practice. Your nervous system, endocrine system, digestive system, musculoskeletal system, and so on have electro-magnetic aspects. BodyTalk is a formal system of categorizing and linking together all of these aspects of your body and mind so that they can be properly balanced. It focuses on improving cooperation and communication among the nervous, immune, and endocrine systems and on balancing the brain and its influence on both body and mind.
BodyTalk is employed by a rapidly growing number of practitioners throughout the world, many of whom are independently licensed in something else. For example, I am a licensed naturopathic physician who decided to add to my service offerings by completing the training in 2006 and becoming a certified BodyTalk practitioner. Other BodyTalk practitioners have no other licensure and practice this modality exclusively.
BodyTalk is based on the idea that humans participate in extensive non-verbal communication. While commonly thought of as a series of facial expressions and body movements, non-verbal communication also includes a significant amount of energetic information transfer. Your body’s energy fields are representative of your physiology: the shape and strength of these fields communicate the details of hormone flow, injuries, nervous system function, meridian blockages, etc.
Also, just as the magnetic field extends beyond the physical boundaries of the magnet, energy fields extend beyond your own body. Therefore, using a specific biofeedback technique, I am able to gather information about the state of your body and mind as it pertains to your health. During a BodyTalk session, I follow a specific protocol by non-verbally asking—through tapping and focus—a series of yes/no questions and receiving specific answers from your body.
BodyTalk can effectively address nearly any health condition, and the effects may be felt within one to three sessions. For more information, don’t hesitate to contact me. You also can visit the Body Talk System website, or read a description of a healing session using BodyTalk.
